1. Introduction
Welcome to Tell me your Story ("Platform," "we," "our," "us"). By accessing and using our website and services, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service ("TOS"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Tell me your Story connects scriptwriters with professional reviewers for detailed script coverage. All communication, feedback, and transactions will take place exclusively through our platform.
3. Intellectual Property (IP) Rights
- Writers retain full copyright and ownership of their submitted scripts.
- Reviewers and the platform do not acquire any rights over the submitted content.
- Writers are encouraged to register their scripts with the Copyright Office of India or the Screenwriters Association (SWA) before submission.
4. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
- Scripts submitted for coverage will remain confidential and will not be shared outside the platform.
- Reviewers must adhere to a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to prevent unauthorized use or sharing of scripts.
- The platform is not liable for any breach of confidentiality caused by third parties.
5. Payments and Refund Policy
- All payments for script coverage services must be made upfront.
- No refunds will be provided once a script has been submitted and the service has been initiated.
6. Use of Feedback and Testimonials
- By submitting a script, you grant Tell me your Story the right to use excerpts, anonymized feedback, and testimonials for promotional purposes, provided explicit consent is obtained.
7. Prohibited Content
Writers must not submit scripts that contain:
- Plagiarized or stolen content.
- Defamatory, obscene, or illegal material.
- Content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
8. Liability Limitations
- The platform is not responsible for disputes arising between writers and reviewers.
- We do not guarantee that feedback will result in script sales, production, or success.
- We are not liable for any loss of data, breaches, or damages arising from platform use.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Any dispute arising from the use of our services will be subject to arbitration in Maharashtra, India, as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
- In case of legal proceedings, jurisdiction will be courts in Maharashtra, India.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
